Dear Troll King – A Kenetrek Boot Review Response

On December 29th, 2022, I published a YouTube video reviewing Kenetrek Mountain Extreme 400 Boots. The video states that I tested the boots for three years and 1,000 miles. The video has had overwhelming positive feedback with a 100% “like” percentage with nearly 5,000 views.. However, a recent comment implies that I am a liar. I don’t particularly enjoy being called a liar, especially when there is zero evidence to support it. See the comment from YouTube user joekelly9369 a.k.a. The Troll King!

What Mr. Troll doesn’t realize is that I have had a Garmin Watch since April of 2023, and I hunt…A LOT!

The picture below shows my total miles walked from April 1, 2023 through December 1, 2023. 1,228.1 miles.

Of course, I didn’t wear my Kenetrek boots every second of every day in April-Dec 2023. However, I did wear them often, including for shed hunting, spring bear hunting, antelope archery, archery elk, and archery and rifle deer seasons. I put together a little summary of dates and miles accumulated below, which totaled 516.8 miles in the last 9 months. Screenshots for evidence…you know, that stuff that joekelly9369 doesn’t have any of.

2023 is a typical year for me in the outdoors. I had my last pair of Kenetrek boots for three years, so maybe I should have titled the video 3-year, 1,500 mile torture test. I eagerly await an apology from the Troll King!

-Definitely not lying, definitely not exaggerating
